Introducing Round Room Sessions

As 360 Video and VR content creators, we are always looking for new ways to use 360° Video and Virtual Reality to provide people with unique and unforgettable immersive experiences. Over the years, we have worked with a multitude of artists and musicians producing “artist sessions”, both in the studio and unplugged, specifically for video. It allows the artist to perform as they would live but in a more intimate environment. These videos are wildly popular and give fans a chance to see an artist up close and personal performing their favorite songs in a more raw and personal manner than a traditional music video allows.

With the advent of cinematic Virtual Reality and 360° Video, we see an opportunity to make these types of sessions even more personal by placing the viewer center stage and giving them control. Round Room Sessions aim to create interactive 360° content where musicians are performing on a set exclusively for the viewer in a circle around our proprietary 360° cinema camera.

As we count down the days until devices like the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive hit the shelves and we see sites like YouTube integrating support for 360° video, we aim to make Round Room Sessions musical performances the standard others are held to when creating music experiences in Virtual Reality.
