After capturing the world’s first boxing match in VR for Showtime Sports in December, Subvrsive was back at Barclays to help capture Deontay Wilder KO Artur Szpilka. All nine rounds were captured using Subvrsive’s state of the art 360° camera technology and quickly turned around and uploaded on the Showtime Sports social media channels.

Subvrsive assisted Showtime in the content capture, production, and processing using a variety of purpose-built VR camera arrays configured specifically for the experience. These systems allowed viewers at home to watch the match like never before, and was made available via Showtime’s existing social media channels on YouTube and Facebook, as well as on Samsung’s Milk VR platform for the Gear VR and Littlstar.
