Last year, our team at Subvrsive worked alongside creative agency POSSIBLE to shoot a 360° video experience for Downy Unstopables In-Wash Scent Boosters. The challenge was to create an immersive experience that would visually capture the luxurious scents of Unstopables. In order to accomplish this, we used the magic of 360 Video to take viewers on an immersive journey from the inside of a washing machine straight to some of the most beautiful spots in Hawaii. The video completely surrounds viewers with stunning footage of Hawaii’s gorgeous coastline, waterfalls, and sunsets, allowing them to look up, down, and all around for a completely immersive experience.
The ad spot, which was posted to the Unstopables Facebook and Twitter pages, garnered a total of over 2 million views and some pretty enthusiastic viewer feedback.
Today, we’re excited to announce that this immersive 360-degree video has been recognized by the Cincinnati American Advertising Federation with three CincinnADDYs! The spot won two Gold ADDYs in the Digital Creative Technology category for Mobile Interaction and Innovative Use of Interactive Technology, as well as a Silver in the Branded Content & Entertainment category.
